The Administration Division of the Western Mindanao State University recently held a Full-Time Delivery Unit (FDU) Meeting on June 16, 2023, at the College of Home Economics Function Room. The purpose of this meeting was to monitor the progress and status of various projects, programs, and activities within the division.
Attended by directors, supervising administrative officers, section chiefs of the Administrative Division, and personnel from other divisions, the FDU meeting was under the guidance of Dr. Joselito D. Madroñal, Vice-President for Administration and Finance. This collaborative initiative aimed to foster tight coordination among administrative offices, ensuring effective utilization of the university’s budget while adhering to financial guidelines. It also aimed to closely monitor the execution of projects to ensure responsible utilization of government resources.
During the meeting, participants were provided with detailed briefings on various important aspects. These included Section 4 of Administrative Order No. 46 series of 2015 and DBM Circular 2015-8, which highlight the creation and functions of a Full-Time Delivery Unit. Additionally, the University’s Supplemental Annual Procurement Plan for 2023, Budget Utilization Rate, status of infrastructure projects, proposed WMSU organizational structure based on the Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Standards for State Universities, SMART Campus updates, specific provisions of the Collective Negotiation Agreement, filled and unfilled plantilla positions, and proposed projects of the University Health Services Center.
The meeting culminated with an open forum, providing an opportunity for attendees to address any issues and share suggestions that would contribute to the University’s financial performance. By fostering effective communication and collaboration among the administrative offices, this meeting aimed to strengthen the responsible utilization of resources and ultimately benefit the overall development and success of the Western Mindanao State University.
